The rollout begins with Vietnam and Brazil, enabling users to make seamless crypto payments at over 17 million merchants that support the respective native QR systems in the two countries. Pix has since become one of Brazil’s most popular payment systems, used by 170 million individuals and over 15 million merchants across the country. Through Gate Pay’s Pix integration, Brazilian users can now make crypto payments through Gate Pay in their familiar scenarios, from cafés and restaurants payments to school tuition and household bills, with just one scan.
