Everyone in the city could see the details of the trade recorded in the ledger. If there were any issues with the herb, other residents would immediately notify Gatsby.

The transaction was completed smoothly, and Gatsby felt reassured, knowing that no one could secretly alter the record. Blocky exclaimed in amazement, “This ledger is incredible—it’s like transparent magic!”
