Starting with a discussion of the key concepts of confidentiality, integrity, and utility, Cryptocurrency and Privacy takes a look at the characteristics of blockchain, where decentralized public accounts and privacy-conscious users clash, and then introduces cryptocurrencies such as Monero (Monroe), Zcash, and Dash (Dash), which demand anonymous transactions.

The focus on privacy has also given rise to many new technologies and applications, such as Zero Knowledge Proof, which uses complex mathematical models to ensure that data is encrypted but can also be verified, Coin Mixer, which obfuscates multiple transactions to make them untraceable, and Coin Mixer, which uses different encryption methods to hide data sources across multiple nodes. Onion routing (Onion routing) and Tor Network (Onion network), which hide the source of data across multiple nodes with different encryption methods.
