Gate.io will Support Origin Dollar Governance (OGV) Airdrop to Origin Protocol (OGN) Holders

According to the Origin Protocol announcement, the Origin Dollar Governance (OGV) will be allocated to OGN holders based on a snapshot taken at a randomly chosen time within the snapshot window July 5-12. Gate.io will support the airdrop and will distribute the Origin Dollar Governance (OGV) to eligible Origin Protocol (OGN) holders on our platform .
The snapshot will be taken at a random time within the snapshot window. Users are recommended not to move their tokens during the process in order to be eligible for the airdrop. Gate.io will take a snapshot of users’ OGN balance at Gate.io’s actual snapshot time (which may be an adjusted snapshot time based on the Original Protocol team’s snapshot time). Balances should include the OGN balances in spot wallets, lending accounts, and margin accounts, but exclude any outstanding OGN loans.
If you have any outstanding OGN loan over the snapshot time, you will have to repay the lender the OGV for those OGN loans as well. If you don’t want to deal with the extra OGV repayment, please repay your loan earlier.
For Gate.io users, you do not have to do anything in particular , we will credit the OGV airdrop to your Gate.io account directly as soon as we have received them. If you wish to get your OGV credited to your Gate.io account directly, please depositOGN to Gate.io before the snapshot date.
