Gate.io Announcement Regarding Spot Balance Display Issue

On Nov 30, approx 09:00 am UTC, the spot balance display issue occurred again, which caused balances in the spot account not viewable to users on both webpage and App while users could see balances in other accounts, such as futures account, Earn account, etc. Upon receiving the issue report, we started working on it and deployed an urgent update to the spot balance read interface. The spot balance display issue was fixed in about 5 minutes.
This issue affected the frontend display of the spot balances only, other functionalities of the spot account, such as spot trading, and functions in other accounts, such as futures, finance account, etc, were not affected.
The balance is displayed to all users on Website or App properly now. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this period.
Cause of the display issue:
We have identified the root cause of the display issue. The display issue was caused by a newly added client id based order canceling feature, introduced in the Monday's upgrade on spot trading engine. We are planning to restore to the version before the upgrade to prevent recurrence of the display issue.
