Over the past two weeks, we met with members of our community in real life and we are ecstatic to share the results with you!
While our team doubled down on building the most efficient and widely adopted crypto platform, we took time to meet members of our local communities at exciting and insight-filled events.
The main aim of our meeting is to generate awareness around our vision of making crypto accessible to all wherever they are. After all, there are real people behind Gate.io, and we believe that amplifying real-world connections is critical to the future of our tightly knit community. These meetings are setting the precedent for what we will be achieving with our communities over the coming years; uniting people of all backgrounds, and cultures through crypto.
First, we had a fun-filled Happy hour session with KOLs and the crypto media in our Turkish community (GateTR), our first Link day meetup with our community in Eurasia, and an informative panel session with our Head of Eurasia operations Dimitri at the Blockchain Life event.
GateTR Happy Hour
At the recently concluded GateTR Happy Hour, we invited crypto enthusiasts, Turkish KOLs, Crypto Media, and members of our community to join our local team for a funfilled evening and conversations on all things blockchain, highlighting the important role Gate.io plays in the crypto ecosystem. Among the topics discussed, we encouraged collaboration and partnerships and launched an exclusive campaign for members of the community. Now, what is a happy hour without fun? We are proud to have collaborated with all attendees and provided a safe and fun-filled space for us to communicate, share Gate.io's vision and enjoy ourselves.
Gate.io's First Link Day meetup in Eurasia
On September 13, 2022, the first Meet Up from the Gate.io Link Day series took place. This series of meetups are regular events organized in order to provide an opportunity for various projects, companies, and individuals to unite under one crypto community and promote their cooperation. Gate.io Head of Eurasia operations Dimitri Krylov was present at the event to network and foster collaboration in the local markets.
Among those present were representatives of the 2040W projects, Cryptus Media, The VSË, Vladimir Vilarso (who is a top-tier trader according to the Trading View website), Blockchain 24, and Top Traders Group.

Additionally, Gate.io Eurasia Head, Dimitri, was present at the Blockchain Life event last week and participated in a panel discussion on the emerging trends in the crypto industry.
Dimitri and other speakers discussed the current trends in the markets and the future of crypto and blockchain. Dmitri shared the panel with other notable members of the event and we are proud to have Gate.io represented at important discussions such as this.
In conclusion, we are most excited when we see conversations like this in action. It reminds us of our purpose and vision and fuels the passion to build an ecosystem that welcomes and sustains people from all walks of life. With the advent of the metaverse and global connections, it is easy to overlook the special connections and conversations that bring communities together.
