Gate.io Announcement on Delisting the Lock-up GT & Earn AME Product

Lock-up GT & Earn AME listed on Gate.io on July 8, 2022, is a financial product whose annualized rate of return is calculated in terms of the locked GT amount and whose interest is paid according to the amount of the currency. To protect our users from losses, Gate.io has delisted the product and released the locked GT to all the participants on July 18, 2022, in advance. The whole 14-day lock-up interest has also been issued. Please check it in "My Wallet" - "Billing Details".
Considering the inconvenience that may be caused by the delisting, Gate.io has introduced the following compensations for the participants in the "Lock-up GT & Earn AME":
1. Release All Aligned Interests: Gate.io has already distributed the full 14-day lock-up interests to all the participants even though the principal hasn't been locked for 14 days.
The AME Returned = Locked GT Amount * 14 days * Daily interest rate
2. Upgrade VIP Level: Each participant will enjoy one level higher based on their current VIP level. The upgraded VIP level is valid for 2 months, and only the master account is eligible for this upgrade.
The current VIP level of each participant is subject to the snapshot on July 18, 2022.
3. Extra Points Rewards: All participants will be rewarded with the corresponding points equal to 20% of the locked GT value. (1 point = $1)
Points to be rewarded = Locked GT amount * GT price * Daily Interest Rate * Lock-up Days
Notes
1. The upgraded VIP level in the compensation is valid for 2 months, and the points are valid for 3 months.
2. The price of GT is calculated based on $4.033, the opening price on July 8, 2022 (UTC) when the product was listed.
3. Points will be released and the VIP level will be upgraded within 7 working days.
