We are pleased to announce that the <a href="https://www.gate.com/announcements/article/44231" target="_blank">Lending Program</a> has received positive feedback from many clients. To further support new institutional clients in optimizing capital efficiency and expanding trading volume, Gate has increased the exclusive lending limit for new clients. You may apply now—new clients are eligible for up to $600,000 in interest-free lending.

**I. Upgraded Exclusive Lending for New Clients (OTC / Unified Account)**

Available to **clients with monthly trading volume exceeding $30 million on other platforms**. By providing proof of trading volume for the past 30 days, you can obtain a lending limit upon joining Gate.

**Lending Rules:**  
Within **30 days** of receiving the limit, if cumulative trading volume meets the requirements, you will enjoy **60 days of interest-free lending**. **Limited to 10 clients per month, first come, first served.**

The new interest-free lending limits and trading volume requirements are as follows:

**Performance Review:** If trading volume does not meet the requirement, interest must be paid at the agreed rate and the principal and interest must be repaid **within 3 days**. If requirements are met, **the interest-free period will be extended by 60 days, for a total of 60 days interest-free.**

**Lending Upgrades:**

1. After the original lending period ends, if trading volume meets the requirement, you may apply for a higher lending limit and continue to participate in the interest-free review for even higher tiers. If trading volume does not meet the requirement, interest must be paid at the agreed rate and the principal and interest must be repaid **within 3 days**. If requirements are met, **the new interest-free period will be extended by 30 days, for a total of 60 days interest-free.**

2. Example 1: **Gradual Upgrade of Interest-Free Limit**
   * Client A applies for Tier 1 limit ($200,000 USDT) for the first term. If cumulative trading volume reaches $15 million USDT within 30 days, the client can enjoy an additional 30 days interest-free.
   * Upon expiry, **the client may apply to upgrade to Tier 2 limit** ($300,000 USDT). If cumulative trading volume reaches $30 million USDT within 30 days of the new loan, the client can enjoy an additional 30 days interest-free.
   * Subsequently, **the client may continue to apply for Tier 3 limit** ($400,000 USDT). If cumulative trading volume reaches $60 million USDT within 30 days of the new loan, the client can enjoy an additional 30 days interest-free.
   * **After the interest-free period ends, the principal must be repaid.**

3. Example 2: **Direct Application for the Highest Interest-Free Limit**
   * Client B applies directly for the Tier 3 limit ($400,000 USDT) for the first term. If cumulative trading volume reaches $60 million USDT within 30 days, the client can enjoy an additional 30 days interest-free.
   * **Since the highest interest-free limit has been reached, no further upgrades are available. After expiry, the interest-free period ends and the principal must be repaid.**

**II. Exclusive Large-Amount Lending for Existing Clients (OTC / Unified Account)**

**Eligible Clients:** Existing clients who have completed **KYB verification and have a 30-day trading volume exceeding $100 million** may apply for an **interest-free limit of up to $10 million USDT** based on trading volume. Both unified account lending and OTC lending are available.

**Lending Rules:**  
If trading volume in the past 30 days meets the **maker & taker requirements for perpetual contracts or spot trading** as shown in the table below, you may apply for the corresponding interest-free lending limit.

**Total Limit:**  
* Spot and contract lending are calculated separately. **The combined total lending limit for spot and contracts is capped at $10 million USDT.**

**Assessment Cycle:**  
* Each calendar month constitutes one assessment cycle.
* Gate will review trading volume on the first day of each month.

**Assessment Criteria:** The monthly trading volume requirements for the corresponding lending tier must be met for both “maker and taker” in contracts or spot trading.

**If Requirements Are Not Met:**  
* If trading pipeline requirements are not met, interest must be paid at the agreed rate and the principal and interest must be repaid **within 3 days of receiving the review result notice** (subject to the actual review result notification email).
* Failure to repay on time will trigger the **automatic repayment process**; if account funds are insufficient, forced liquidation may occur.

**Important Notes:**
1. Unified account loan funds may only be used for spot margin trading; OTC loan funds are not restricted by market.
2. Trading volume for all zero-fee pairs will not be counted.
3. New clients may not participate in the GMMC campaign simultaneously.
