Gate Institutional OI Loan Program Upgrade: Reduced OI Threshold, Up to $10 Million Interest-Free Loan Quota

Gate has upgraded its <a href="https://www.gate.com/announcements/article/46554" target="_blank">Institutional OI Loan Program</a>, reducing the Daily Average Derivatives OI requirement. Updated details are as follows.

### **Target Clients:** 
 All institutional clients are eligible. Gate will provide loans in advance to clients who meet the derivatives open interest (OI) and initial margin requirements of their unified accounts, followed by monthly performance evaluations.

### **How to Apply:**

### **Key Benefits:**
* With sufficient **margin assets** (meeting the initial margin risk control requirements of the unified account), you may receive **up to $10 million in interest-free loans** .
* Margin assets can still be freely traded in the **spot** or **derivatives** markets.
* The institutional loan program supports multiple cryptocurrencies as **margin collateral** (for specific margin discount factors, please refer to <a href="https://www.gate.com/loan-info" target="_blank">https://www.gate.com/loan-info</a> ).
* By meeting the open interest requirements in the **derivatives market** , users can enjoy up to **$10 million in interest-free loan quotas** .

### **Notes:**
* Each calendar month constitutes a performance evaluation cycle. A performance review will be conducted at the **end of each month** . Loans disbursed during the current month will not be counted toward the derivatives daily average open interest evaluation. 
 Evaluation begins on the **1st day of the following month** . If the performance criteria are not met, the loan for the non-compliant month will be subject to the **pre-agreed interest rate** .
* Once the required **daily average derivatives open interest** is met, the client becomes eligible for **interest-free benefits** , with **each Tier enjoying a three-month loan period** .
* **Loan Upgrade:** Upon the expiry of the current loan term, if the derivatives open interest requirement is still met, clients may apply for a higher loan quota and move up to a higher Tier for the next interest-free evaluation. **If the performance target is not met, interest will be charged at the pre-agreed rate;** if the target is met, **a new three-month loan period will begin** , continuing up to the highest Tier.

### **Important Reminders:**
1. OI Loan is issued under the **Unified Account** , and the loan funds can **only be used for margin trading in the spot market** .
2. All loans under this program require margin collateral. The discount factor and risk control mechanisms follow those of the **Unified Account** .
