While global blockchain hubs like Dubai dominate headlines, a quieter yet significant movement is emerging in an unexpected region—Central Italy. Traditionally not recognized as a major tech hub, the area is quickly becoming a center for Web3 innovation and enthusiasm. Giovanni Cunti, CEO of Gate.MT, an entity within the Gate Group, experienced this growing momentum firsthand at the Pescara Blockchain Beach event, where local entrepreneurs and major Web3 players gathered to explore the latest trends in decentralized technology.

Hosted by Officina DeFi from October 4-5 in Pescara, Italy, the event attracted a diverse range of speakers and panellists from leading blockchain projects, including BASE, Cardano, IOTA, Algorand, and more.

Reflecting on the event's success, Mr. Cunti expressed his surprise at the enthusiasm for Web3 in Central Italy. "I was impressed by the strong growth and adoption of Web3 in the region," said Mr. Cunti. "There is a widespread interest in new trends and technologies, and I met several local innovators eager to expand beyond their current boundaries. The level of engagement was remarkable, with follow-up discussions continuing throughout the event."

Gate.MT is committed to expanding blockchain awareness and fostering innovation across Italy's regions. ### Web3 Adoption Beyond Italy
