This past May 22nd, Gate.io hosted a memorable Bitcoin Pizza Day event at Nappo Pizza in Istanbul, bringing together Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and cryptocurrency enthusiasts for a day of education, networking, and delicious pizza-making. The venue, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza, provided the perfect setting for both seasoned crypto veterans and newcomers to connect over the shared language of pizza and blockchain.

The event kicked off with insightful presentations about Bitcoin's journey from its inception to its current standing in the financial world, setting a strong educational tone. Attendees gained valuable perspectives on digital currency's impact and its potential for future growth. This was followed by an interactive quiz that tested and expanded participants’ crypto knowledge, adding a fun and engaging element to the day.

A highlight of the Bitcoin Pizza Day celebration was the pizza-making workshop. KOLs donned Gate.io aprons and stepped into the kitchen to try their hand at crafting traditional Neapolitan pizzas. It was a unique way to extend the celebration beyond the walls of Nappo Pizza and include the wider web3 community in our festivities.
